Joey Hedger is author of Deliver Thy Pigs (Malarkey Books, 2022) and In the Line of a Hurricane, We Wait (Red Bird Chapbooks). While born and raised in Florida, Joey currently lives in a smoke-damaged apartment in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Kate and their shih-tzu Bibi. His writing has appeared in Saw Palm, Variant Literature, HAD, Bull, The Islandia Journal, Complete Sentence, and more. His poetry won first prize in the 2019 Florida Loquat Literary Festival.
